"Went to Dollar General because I accidently forgot to bring my dogs water bowl with me on a visit to Marion from Tennessee. I understand the store closes at 9pm tonight but I was running in just to buy a dog bowl, and it was 8:47 when I walked through the doors. The lady at the counter said we close in 5 minutes and I explained I was there just to get a dog dish she rolled her eyes at me and proceeded to tell the Customer at the counter I should have locked the doors. I am here for 1 day to visit my grandchildren andy kids and I had 2 of my grand daughters with me who I was going to get candy for at the checkout but because of the rudeness of the cashier decided to tell my grandkids I will spend my money else where. I am sure going to tell my friends and family not to shop at this dollar general."
"Not the biggest fan of Dollar General stores. Feel they have robbed all the small towns across the US of Mom and Pop shops. They are convenient and everywhere you go. Stopped in this location for a Mother's Day card. Nice card for $2 that should have been $5.50. One of the few things I buy at these stores."
"Very friendly staff, shelves were full considering the freight slowdown from the pandemic. I was actually able to get everything on my list. By far my favorite DG in Marion."
"The Dollar Generals in Marion are all good for a quick stop to pick up a couple things. My biggest complaint would be how in "disarray" the Ailes in the stores are, & how disorganized& messy the Ailes seem any and every time I shop in any of the locations."
"I don't know what the employees problem is here but this place is seriously not worth anything you might need. One lady stuck something I didn't put on the belt (no it wasn't there when I put my stuff up) in my bag & i didn't notice till I got to work. Had to take it back for a refund and called corporate. Assuming she got fired bc now the lady that works the only one register they ever have open is rude AF. She seriously got an attitude bc my coupons didn't clip to my phone number like I was doing something wrong but 100%unwilling to help me. Obviously I clipped them or I couldn't have handed you a piece of paper with just the ones I wanted to use printed. But by all means just treat me like a idiot and don't try to help at all. Maybe that's why they're not busy enough to have more than one person working at a time?"
