"Had the French onion soup and was amazed. The steak was perfectly cooked and seasoned to perfection. My wife said the chicken was very good as well. Would recommend it highly"
"Finally stopped in for lunch after I had been wanting to try this place for a while. All of the food was super good, but it is expensive. Partner and I just shared some appetizers. He got the French onion soup, their signature dish, which was delicious! We liked their pretzel sticks and cheese curds as well. I wish portion sizes were maybe a little bigger. Service was okay."
"We have tried this restaurant 3 times since we moved out here a few years back. We had always heard good things and we like to support our local businesses. However every time we've gone here our experience has not been good. Our first time here, which was years back we had been sitting at our table for a half hour and found out at that point that the prime rib we ordered they were out of. We chose another meal and when it came out it wasn't very hot, the veggies were very mushy, not steamed, we were very disappointed. On our most recent visit I we both ordered a glass of wine which immediately started the fruit flies circling our table. I've never seen so many at a restaurant before. We asked to be moved to another area, any other area that we wouldn't be swarmed. The waitress said, "oh the fruit flies, yeah they are bad." Its not very reassuring that they are aware of the issue and are not addressing it. The breaded shrimp appetizer was good, the cheese curds were more like breaded puffs, they didn't really have cheese in them. My grilled shrimp was pan fried, not grilled. The staff was very nice which is why I gave the service 5 stars but the Food and the cleaning practices need to be addressed."
"I ordered the prime rib with garlic rub, mushrooms, and onions. My wife ordered the perch. The food was very good, but there was way too much garlic, onion, and mushrooms on it, so next time, I'll order that on the side. The service was excellent. I would've given them a 5 star, but there was so many gnats flying around our table. I'll definitely be back"
"My first time stopping in and the food was pretty amazing. It was well worth the 30 minute wait and the service was great too. I like the atmosphere.... dress casual but bring a sweater."
