"We, a party of 4, had reservations for 6:15 on a Saturday night. Only 1 waiter in the whole place along with the cook, runner and busboy. Took over 20 minutes for him to take our drink order, another 15 minutes to take our appetizer order, the appetizers arrived 15 minutes later before our drinks, then he took another 15 minutes for him to take our meal order. He did not check on our drinks until we went up to the bar to ask for a refill. After being in the cold restaurant for 2.25 hours, we finally got our check. The manager/runner said 3 people called in sick, but maybe we should have just gotten an appetizer and left. Food was great, but service was a 1 and the dining room needs a little TLC."

"This is really a great restaurant. They lost 1 star just because the actual building needs serious maintenance and cleaning. Pretty rough and best up old bar restaurant. Filthy overhead fan and floors. But the food and service was good enough to still get 4 stars. Huge selection of freshly grilled fish. Large menu of other items also. Worth a visit, especially if they clean it up and paint a little. Obviously a local hangout."
