"Ask your Dr. if he Board Certfied? Or is he or she is licensed in the State of Florida? Why, because The VA has its own ridiculous requirements, where The VA does not require Board Certification (The Holy Grail of protecting patients, as required by most States in Our Illustrious Country), and if your Doctor is State Licensed in One State, he or she is licensed in all fifty states according to the VA. And The VA Care System (and it is a self-serving system) thinks far less of the veterans it serves, to provide less than professional requirements as in private care. Oh Yeah! Private Care (THE CHOICE PROGRAM)? How's that going for you my fellow veteran? Do you feel the uphill battle, as forever. Well, it will be, for the program was designed by Congress in haste, as reaction to the fiasco in 2014, you know the fake waiting lists. And your Sec. of VA Affairs brought in HEALTH NET, a third party insurance company where millions of dollars have not been paid to private physicians, and in my case, forty (40) urologists in a forty mile radius refuse to join the CHOICE PROGRAM. I'll probably die before Congress will do its job, for once. And The VA employee Union is doing everything they can to sabotage the program, so that care will continue at the VA Medical Centers. Just an update Guys and Gals, as to Patient Care or Non-care that continues, forever and ever. At least, I know just how corrupt the system truly is, and trust in The VA Health Care System is not at the top of my list of favorite things in life."
