"I used to love going in this place when I lived just a short walk/bike ride away. The sweets were usually great, as was the coffee. You could have some interesting conversations in there. I just read on the other reviews that the coffee house is no longer there. That's too bad, it was pretty neat. The shop was too "woo woo" for me, what w/ crystals and other New Age things, but harmless enough. It reminded me of the 60's-80's in that respect. The coffee house was where I "worshiped". St Pete has a reputation as being liberal, but that's in comparison to Florida norms. So it was fun to meet some people that weren't cookie cutter conservative Floridians, even if I didn't really go for all their tarot card and medium beliefs. But to each their own, and no one was unhinged or unpleasant at all. Traffic on the street outside could get crazy though. It was better to approach it from the back side, where the church was. I saw several wrecks in the front whilst having my coffee outside."
