"Love this bank and the staff!!! Very happy here and excellent customer service. Toll free number is speedy and the branch is amazing. I really like David Paredes, he is very transparent/honest which I really appreciate. He was forthcoming with information regarding cashing a 10k international cheque and Chase Bank was not. I find the complaint reviews a bit shifty. Leaving a 1 Star review because of what you heard second hand from a friend is not an accurate review. If you don’t bank here then you have no business posting about them. I also cannot say I take anyone seriously who has a “Pizza Hut” meme as their avatar. Perhaps they will be happier at Amscot if you know what I mean."
"horribly run business with awful customer service. Confirmed my autobill pay on a CC, then with no notice sent a bill 3 months later with lates fees stating I had missed two payments. bank refused to refund the late fees. customer service has been clueless on multiple occasions. How this place still exists is beyond me. Have had major issues with other larger banks, but would take them any day over this place. update: after submitting complaints to the BBB and FDC, received help from corporate office who fixed the issues. I commend them for that, though with updated policies and practices this could have been avoided all together."
"Very poor customer service. Was able to get a pretty good deal on a 0% interest credit card for 13 months, however they took 1 week to mail it out. The bank was able to provide me with the card number and expiration date for my "immediate usage" however I was stuck with a client that provided the service but I could not pay them. The staff at 5/3 bank did not offer any support in resolving my situation but did offer that if I payed and expedited fee they can speed up the credit card shipment. First impressions are everything and this one unfortunately for them, was not good for me."
