"I have been a loyal customer of Trustco Bank for quite some time, and my previous experiences have always been positive. However, my recent visit to the branch on Friday, September 8, 2023, left me extremely disappointed. I was assisted by a young lady named Valeisha, and from the moment I approached her window, her attitude was far from what I've come to expect from Trustco. When I explained that I needed to cash a check, she questioned whether she had enough cash in her drawer. I suggested that she could get more from the safe if needed, but her response was shockingly rude. She told me not to tell her how to do her job in a disrespectful tone. I politely asked her to refrain from being rude, emphasizing that I wanted our transaction to start on a positive note. However, she simply returned my check and ID, refusing to help me any further. In the end, she went so far as to call Trustco support and refused to serve me as a customer. Given that I had someone meeting me at the branch for a financial exchange, I had to resort to using the ATM instead. This experience was not only unpleasant but also completely uncharacteristic of the service I've come to expect from Trustco. Regrettably, I will not be returning to this branch, and I sincerely hope that no one else has to endure the kind of rudeness I encountered on that day."
