"I went to the Van Cleef store in Miami Design District and was appalled by the lack of service I received there. When I walked in the store associates were dealing with other clients so I began to look around. Two females came in shortly after me and we were all waiting to be assisted within close proximity to each other. An older and a younger gentleman came from around the back and proceeded to walk over to the two other females, greeted them and asked how I could help. I asked if no one was going to assist me or if I was invisible and the older gentleman informed me that he did not see me. I told him that seeing that he did not see me in the first place he was to continue not seeing me and I walked out of the store. My money is just as good as someone who is Caucasian and Hispanic; and I should not be made to think otherwise."

"I went in to view/purchase a few of their designs. When entering the store, it seems like no one wants you there! The doorman just stared at me as I was opening the door for myself, and once I was inside it really felt sterile, and unwelcoming. For a moment, I really thought the boutique was closed with how everyone was glaring daggers at me. No one greeted me, and there was one associate who finally looked up from the table to ask what I wanted. All she said was "we are out of stock." No suggestions on ordering online, other boutiques, when it will be in stock, etc. That was the end of the conversation and she went right back to what she was doing. Another associate came in and asked me what I was looking for as well, but she acted like she couldn't be bothered to help me. It was like a Julia Roberts in "Pretty Woman" moment. No wonder it is empty inside the store. Unwelcoming, inhospitable, unwelcoming, and made me feel like I did not belong in the store. I even went to Gucci later on and briefly mentioned that VCA did not have what I wanted, and it was the Gucci associate that even told me there was a boutique in Bal Habor! No mention of it at the VCA boutique! Do better! No vintage alhambra or sweet alhambra in stock - not sure how some of the most popular styles are not available! Guess I saved myself a few thousand dollars! Edited as of 1/12/24, I ended up contacting them as requested and spoke to their manager. I have since added 1 star to the review since I did have a good experience speaking to him and has made me feel better about the changes they have implemented from my review."

"Purchased a necklace back in November. Wasn't the most welcoming salesperson, she was a bit cold and pompous. However, I really liked the necklace, so I purchased it anyways. Went back in January in search of earrings. After waiting for more than 20 mins without anyone even acknowledging my presence, I was finally helped by the same lady, who again, not the most helpful and seemed annoyed by my inquiry. I will just order the earrings online, if I decide to order them when in stock. I might just purchase earrings from the Cartier a few feet away from them instead, they always treat me so nice."

"I recently visited the Van Cleef & Arpels store in Design District and unfortunately, my experience there was very disappointing. I was expecting a luxury shopping experience, but I encountered a representative named Jason who seemed rushed and provided extremely mediocre service. My main reason for visiting was to look for a particular bracelet that wasn't available in the store. However, when I asked to have my wrist measured so that I could place an order, the representative's response was quite discouraging. He practically didn't even let me try. As a loyal customer of the brand, I felt truly let down to witness how the luxury experience was being degraded in this particular store. It's sad to see how renowned designers can treat their customers so unkindly and inconsiderately. In such circumstances, I definitely prefer to do my shopping online, where I can at least find a luxurious experience that this store couldn't provide. In summary, my visit to the Van Cleef & Arpels store in Design District was one of the worst luxury shopping experiences I've had. I sincerely hope that the brand takes steps to improve the quality of service and ensure that all customers are treated with the respect and attention they deserve."

"My visit to the boutique was wonderful! Jing Jing was extremely welcoming and friendly! She really made us feel special. Champagne and chocolates with my purchase is a sweet touch. She was knowledgeable and kind with her words. She made me feel at home and also inspired me to purchase more. Can’t wait to go back for my next purchase and to see her again."
