"As a NY, FL & ME CPA for more than 30+ years, there has not been a bank manager that I have worked with so much enthusiasm, professionalism and effectiveness. That is probably why there have been so many 4-to-5-star reviews on Google. Working for a corporation has its ups and downs, downs specially when it has to do with politics. After another successful leads group meeting with the branch manager Stacey Wilson, which I praise her for receiving the 4- and 5-star reviews, I called the of a wealthy client of mine to invest more than a million dollars to start a new business. I found out that she was terminated that same morning. I lost one of my highly energetic contacts. Amerant Bank did not deserve my lead and thus gave it to TD Bank. Knowing now the back story how she got terminated and the lack professionalism of the bank leaders, my CPA colleagues will avoid and not recommend Amerant Bank anymore. Shame on the way she was terminated, shame on not following up on her complaints she made against one of her peers. You lost someone valuable."
