"I received a floral arrangement from The Flower Spot last Thursday from a friend. When the delivery girl handed it to me, I looked at the spray roses and knew that they wouldn't open. The edges were brown and the stems felt limp, obviously not fresh. I filled the arrangement with water and put it on a table out of direct sunlight. The next morning the roses had wilted completely. By Sunday I was so upset that I emailed the shop with photos of the arrangement. On Monday morning I had not heard from them so I called. The woman who answered the phone told me that they did not check their emails until the evening ( really???) She then gave the phone to a gentleman who listened to my issue and promised to replace the arrangement. I wasn't home when the arrangement arrived, but received a text at 1:30 that it had been delivered. I arrived home at 1:45 to find the same type of arrangement ( chrysanthemums and spray roses with greens) The spray roses in this arrangement were not fresh, the edges were brown and the roses were blown open. The lavender daisy chrysanthemums were shedding and some had brown centers. The person who made this arrangement obviously had seen that. It was just thrown together. Below are photos of the original arrangement ( with peach spray roses) and also a photo of the pink roses I pulled out of the second arrangement this morning. I was going to try to salvage that was left of the lavender chrysanthemums, but I was so aggravated I just threw the entire thing in the trash. I had surgery a few weeks ago and received several lovely arrangements from local florists. All of them lasted over a week. I would suggest that if you are looking to send fresh flowers, you should avoid The Flower Spot. I truly don't know how they stay in business. "Same day delivery list exceptional. It took two days for the arrangement to perk up to look acceptable. 5 days in after delivery and the roses in the arrangement have not begun to open yet. Would not choose this business for my next arrangement. UPDATE: I called the shop and spoke with a customer service Rep and explained to her my concerns. She apologized that we weren't satisfied and sent another arrangement which was just beautiful. Appreciate the outstanding customer service. Thank you."
