"I have been with my bank up north for so many years and I thought that no one could ever beat my bank until I join LCMU.every time I do my banking in person they always greet you with a warm welcome .Rammi has great customer support and he is willing to help you what ever you need .I’m definitely staying with this bank for a long time .Keep up the good work everyone."
"After moving to the Naples area in 2019 we continued to bank with our credit union that we had been with for many years in the Tampa Bay area. But a little over a month ago we decided it was time to find a new bank. After looking around, Lake Michigan Credit Union caught our attention on Collier Blvd. When I called them, I spoke to Rami, and he was so professional and friendly, I knew right away it was the place for us. We transferred our money from our old credit union to LMCU, and from day one Rami has been more like a family member than an employee at the place where we bank. Whether going thru the drive through, or walking in, which I prefer, everyone is so friendly. The first thing I hear is “good morning”. I have stopped in often to ask questions about investments, and their different accounts, and Rami has always answered my questions and made me feel welcomed. I have told our church about them, and our friends, including a group I meet with monthly to strategize with. I highly recommend Lake Michigan Credit Union. Recently I bought a new car for my wife, and as usual, Rami walked me through the process until our loan was approved. I wont bank anywhere else, their products are some of the best you’ll find, and Max Checking is amazing!"
"Worst branch EVER. Never have I experienced such rude and incompetent people. I am the type that likes to give the benefit of the doubt and the last 3, yes, THREE times I have gone to this particular branch, they are unhelpful. Because of them I will be cancelling my account with Lake Michigan."
"The Collier Blvd branch has been incredible to deal with. Their personal attention has not gone unnoticed. If you need something, they’ll get it done!"
"I am retired, with not much income but substantial assets, both cash and clear real estate. I am attempting to purchase a home in southwest Florida. By the traditional method of qualifying a buyer, my income/debt ratio is insufficient to attain a mortgage. I have a 800+ credit rating and was going to put 70% down on a property. My intent was to sell off a property I owned and pay off this loan, hopefully within months.Several banks told me the only qualifier was the income/debt guideline. A connection of my realtor arranged for a representative of Lake Michigan to contact me. I told him that my income/debt ratio was inadequate. He said, that's OK, the loan would be asset based. (I have enough cash to purchase the property outright. I also have the same amount in free and clear real estate. My wife and I met with their representative and his manager. They assured me the loan would be approved. Their approval encouraged me to put an offer on a property. I paid over $1,000 for a home inspection. The seller began moving out furniture. 5 weeks later, Lake Michigan turned down my loan because my income/debt ratio was insufficient!!! I can only assume their loan officer and his manager are incompetent. The main loan department evidently has little oversight with it's representatives. Lake MIchigan Credit Bureau has little concern for it's customers. Any borrower in a similar situation should be cautious."
