"I was with center State before south State took over and center State was a great little home town bank they never screwed up your account but since south State took over I've had my account hacked over fifty times and so I decided to close the account and open another well the new girl that working in accounts didn't know her but from a hole in the ground because I filed a dispute from some charges on my account I did not authorize and left the old account open just to put my refunds back in that account andwhen they were put in there I was supposed to withdraw the amount from fraud and put it in my new account well south State let a bill come threw on a I thought a closed account except for refunds and charged me a overdraft fee of 36.00 so now I'm 56 dollars in the whole in my old account the next day I check it there's another fraud on that account that supposed to be closed and another 36.00 bounced account fee now we're up to 72.00 in the hole in a supposed closed account I'm live on a fixed income and the bank had the nerve to tell me since there was a balance dur6 on the supposed closed account and I'd I didn't pay it which was not my fault I wouldn't be able to open another account anywhere else until it was paid I would not put my money back in south State if they were the last bank in Polk county you will regret it"

"Literally the worst bank i have EVER been to. All the people are rude especially the lady out front with the brown hair. Completely rude for no reason. She needs a new job because customer service is NOT her strong suit in the slightest."

"The girls are great, but it's not enough to keep my business. Allowing a payment to bounce my account shouldn't be an option and if it is, then I shouldn't be charged for it if I fix the problem within the 24 hours it happened. I'm not an account bouncer! So this is unacceptable! For this reason, I will be closing my account ASAP."

"I am so SAD to think this bank helps all types of organizations but cannot help a Local family buying an $8.00 dollar fundraising ticket.. By the way this family has Banked with them for years, is just VERY SAD!!! Way to go Lake Wales off 27 Branch!!!"
