"I've sold some items at this location and all the staff are always friendly and fair. I only wish their corporate would do something about their facility overall, it is in definite need of major renovation and those folks working there deserve no less. For example the open ceiling is a major fire hazard and is a threat to staff, customers and everything in that shop. The floors are in serious disrepair and other areas are also showing moderate wear. I'm not trying to bash their facility but their company owes their employees and customers no less than a safe and serviceable facility in which to conduct business. This would also attract more business as many people choose whether or not to conduct business initially based on appearance. Beyond that I would still recommend them over any other shops in this area."
"I swear the people who work there have no clue what they are doing. I had taken a loan out on a pair of Oakley's (a pair that had been in their store several times, and every time, they act like they are fake. The same thing happened with a gold chain I just attempted to take a loan out on. The chain has been there twice before, passed their magnet test (which 10k and some 14k gold jewelry can stick to magnets FYI becausethey use other metals to make it stronger). When I took it to them, the had it where it was dangling on the side of the counter to where it was swinging by the magnet instead of laying it flat and doing the test. If the company is so strict on accepting things that have been in their store before, maybe they should train their employees on how to do the tests properly. The other Value Pawns in the area never give me an issue, it is this particular location. If something has been in your store m9re than once, then clearly it is okay to take it back in! I would give this store zero stars if it were an option."
