Recently I was out of town so I had my wife adjust the weights (like winding it with chains) and it stopped working after whatever she did. "For my birthday this year, I wanted to have my grandmothers 1950’s ring restored with he white sapphire stones replaced with diamonds. The ring had been worn continuously since she got it in the 1950’s until she died, and I haven’t taken it off much since I got it when I was 13, so needless to say, it was badly beaten. One of the stones had gone missing 5 years ago and the stones were so beaten that a jeweler once told my mom he couldn’t tell what kind of stone was even in the ring had we not known. Williams Jewelry is right by my parents place and was one of the places they went for an estimate. They had a very reasonable price and had done good work for my dad before so they went with them and we were not disappointed! They built up the prongs and put in the diamonds we wanted, added more gold, and just made the ring look brand new. I cried when I got it and couldn’t be happier! I’ve received so many compliments on it since from people who have seen me wearing it for years. My grandmother would have been so proud of it.
