"I currently bank with this company but I'm look to go elsewhere. I recently had a house fire caused by bad wiring and lost everything including cash (half of my rent money). After being moved to a new home I still had to pay rent by the first. I had to overdraft my account. I spoke to Pen Air in person and over the phone about what happened. They then closed my account and told me it's because I didn't communicate with them. That account is where my direct deposit goes to. Now I have no access to my paycheck for a few weeks and when i asked them about turning it back on they said that it is impossible but I can pay them back and then take a 2 responsible spending classes and then open a new account but have to wait 30 days again after those classes before I get any benefits back. CLASSES ON RESPONSIBLE SPENDING. Them money was for rent but that's not responsible after losing everything in a fire"

"I get paid the same paycheck every single month because it is a federal government paycheck. At my other bank, it always came into my account on the 26th of the month after pending for one day! With PenAir, they put such a long hold on the accounts that it is the 29th and it has been pending for four days! I need my money!"

"I met with Pamela at the Foley (al) branch. This lady was awesome. Very helpful. Addressed everyone of my issues with simple, easy to understand information and wonderful attitude. Plus, I'm deaf and she easily worked with that with zero communication problems. It's this kimd of personal experience that keeps me with Pen Air. Absolutely a joy."

"I see so many negative reviews about Pen Air but I never once had a problem with them!! I been with them for 9 years going on 10 years and they have been nothing but sweet!! I know some things in the comments they don’t know what some people cannot do nor help with. Members don’t know what goes on behind the scenes. Needing help w your account calling the 850 number to discuss your account want to speak w someone at the branch then go to the branch lol that simple no need to speak to someone at the branch for the same answer they’re busy helping people that come in. I know it’s your bank and all of that but it’s two sides to every story and working dealing with members they feel like you can do anything they need and it doesn’t work like that. Sorry just had to say something because the comments are ridiculous and most of them come from Karens. Its so rude how they treat a MSR sometimes when they can’t have their way that being said Pen air thanks you!! Most people that loves y’all may not rate only the people that have so much to say and can’t have their way, keep thriving and keeping up the good work!!!"
