"If you are looking for an honest and reliable boat moving company, Paul and his team of drivers are the best. I feel compelled to share my experience with Paul and the actual transport so that anyone considering multiple companies, like I did, will feel comfortable knowing that this company is top notch. Since I had no prior experience with a transport company, I did ask a lot of questions of all potential companies I considered. I did speak with about 10 companies and corresponded with some on Uship. I decided to go with Paul because he was the most patient, informative and his prices were extremely competitive. Keep in mind, some quotes were ridiculously low and I questioned whether they had the experience or equipment to haul my 35’ pleasure boat. I also received paperwork from Paul reflecting that he was licensed, bonded and insured. Fast forward to the pickup date. I personally drove my boat to a marina the day before to be hauled out and power washed. I scheduled and prepaid for the service in advance. The following day, I met with Paul’s driver and discovered the boat hadn’t been lifted out of the water or washed. The driver, Brad, was amazing. Before my boat was even lifted out of the water, Brad took control of the situation and ensured that all of the marina staff members knew he was in charge and responsible for the boat. He even waited for the marina employees to lift the boat and clean it properly before it was loaded on the trailer. Watching the loading process was gut wrenching for me but Brad was meticulous, patient and careful in ensuring that the boat was safely placed on the trailer. Prior to transport, I had arranged for the receiving marina to offload the boat and place it in the water for me. When Brad arrived, they changed their minds and gave him directions to the nearest boat ramp. Without hesitation, Brad drove to the boat ramp, several miles away, and launched the boat off of his trailer. I then drove the boat to the marina. For the month following, I experienced malfunctioning issues with the boat that never occurred in the past. I reluctantly contacted Paul and explained the situation to him and what the mechanic stated was the cause of the issue. It was readily apparent that the transport or launch caused a couple of items at the bottom of the hull to get damaged. I told Paul that I believed it was unavoidable because I watched how careful Brad was about everything but I wanted him to be aware of it since the repair would include the cost of the parts, labor and lifting the boat. Without an ounce of hesitation, Paul offered to remedy this issue and make it right. I received compensation from him, credited to my credit card, within 30 minutes of my call. This is why I cannot stress enough that this company is the one to go with. I was relieved and thankful for this gesture. I truly don’t think that most companies would have handled it in this manner. I hope that this truthful review brings him more customers because I am confident that he will ensure that they are treated right. If I ever need this service again, I would save my time and just call Paul."
