"Really wanted to like this place but the food just didn’t live up to expectations. Now I have ate BBQ all over the place so maybe I am jaded having been to KC amongst other places that just have flat out wicked meats but It just tasted like it wasn’t fresh. Start with the meats, KC burnt ends were a lot tougher than I would expect, had one piece so tough that I couldn’t even bite into it as the burnt outside had hardened to the point of no return. My partner felt the same about the pulled pork, just seemed like it wasn’t that fresh. The sides, similar to what others have echoed here, they need a little work. Salad was fine, mind you hard to not make that right but the collard greens were just kind of bland for the most part. Service was friendly, staff was very knowledgeable and accommodating for allergies, just need to put a little more TLC into the food. Prices were fair."

"Stopped by for dinner date with the wife. Showed up around 7ish and seated right away. Our server was very quick and attentive and the food was delicious. I would definitely recommend their famous onion rings appetizer!"

"The brisket is good, so are the ribs. We did also like the sweet potato. Corn was tasty as well. The drinks where good too ! they have happy hour from 3-7. The pulled pork we think could had been a bit better but morning to complain about. Our waitress was really pleasant too. Also before I forget we recommend there boom boom shrimp and we liked the sweet sauce the best. Good flavor. Unfortunately there beans weren’t to tasty. Nice vibe I’m there though. Art on the walls definitely a place to try."
