"Saturday my husband and I were excited to take some friends visiting from up North out for a little fishing and exploring. Knowing we would need fuel after our 36mile journey from North Pinellas, I called Keyes to confirm that we could fuel here and they said, come on down! Never were we under any impression that this was a PRIVATE marina. Your dockmaster was more focused on whether our friends parked on property then our need for fuel & supplies. As an avid fishing family who frequents west coast marinas, I can promise you we will not be spending our money here - we tried, it didn't work. When we returned later that day, we tried again for fuel and were turned away and yelled at for "lying to you", WHAT?! I hope you find employees that are more welcoming to greet your customers in the future because this is not an ideal approach for a 'for-profit' organization."

"Rudest staff ever. Was just being picked up by friends in their boat to go fishing at 10am (they also were going to purchase gas & sundries) when we were accosted by a man stating our friends couldn’t pick us up - that this was a private marina (we were already in the boat). NOWHERE on the website does anything state that the marina was “private”, nor are there any signs stating that. We just nodded & left. Upon our return at 6pm we exited the boat & immediately were again met by this man who THREATENED us by saying “I better not ever see you here again.” Trust me, he won’t. He then went to my friends, the boat owners (locals), and said same to them. Needless to say, they did not make a gas or any purchase & just left. There was no reason for his aggression - we had zero impact on his business or any other customers. What a way to show customer care. Avoid this marina unless you want to be threatened."

"The staff at Keyes are the best. Friendly staff, great slips and on-premise boat ramp and fully stocked bait and tackle shop. Highly recommend!"
