The bowlegged security was reasonable, however, he watched his countrrpart jump over couches to try to intice a fight without intervention. I can't get behind that level of poor customer service to appease napoleon complex. Ghetto and a hard pass."

"Great venue, The service is very poor. The food is a poor representation of Jamaica’s culture. I had the jerk chicken, zero flavor and it was dry. I do not recommended the food. Have a few drinks with friends and leave."

"Directed to Tropical Fridayzz: Been here before and had a blast music is great, vybe is great food was great! I had such a great time that I decided to invited my friends out with me there on my Birthday Night and was disappointed by the outcome of the night. Admission to the club seemed confusing and it seemed like they were prioritizing and picking and choosing who they wanted to let in. There were 5 of us and we had pre paid for a section; when we finally got to the front of the line the security told us we could NOT come In because my friend was wearing BACKLESS LOAFER (not a sandal)! I understood this but then questioned it when I saw more than several women gain access to the club wearing sandals and push toes! The bouncer then told me it only applies to men which made absolutely no sense. The lady that was accepting payments for admission even questioned his decision but he was adamant about not letting us in. I was deeply annoyed and upset by this and requested my 300 dollar refund and left!! No prior disclosure to a shoe policy was made any where on the ticket or entrance and to be told that on such a momentous night was disappointing! @tropicalfridayz"

"The experience overall was less than 1 star. First of all, I purchased a “section”. Biggest rip off in the history of rip offs. Their Instagram says the sections seat 8 people but upon arrival, I realized they only seat MAYBE 5 people. Not to mention, the sections are $850. For that amount I thought I was getting something luxurious. Nope! 2 bottles and it came with 4 chasers (4 8oz cans to split among 8 people!!!!). That irritated me. When we asked for more chasers, we got charged $5 for each additional one. Another thing that was on their instagram was their frozen drinks. I don’t love the taste of liquor so I planned on drinking those all night since on their Instagram, their frozen alcoholic drinks are advertised as $10 each. However, they actually costed me $20 each for an 8oz. Speaking of their frozen drinks, they tasted bad. And, the frozen drinks come out of a machine. The machine wasn’t finished making the frozen drinks until 4 hours after we’d been there. Biggest disappointment ever. As for food, the club doesn’t have food. So there’s a food truck that’s there that sells hibachi, wings, fries, macaroni, all kinds of soul food, etc. The wings were great but they took a longgggg time. We probably waited like 40 minutes for them to prepare our food. And the DJ was AWFUL. I stayed there for 5 hours and of those 5 hours, the Dj probably played 5 songs I knew. It wasn’t as “lit” as advertised on their instagram. I did choose to do the day party but the DJ was lame… extremely lame. There was no new music being played: not a single Rod Wave song, no NBA Youngboy, nothing! They get a -1/10 from me. Not only will I not be returning but I don’t recommend it to anyone either. With the amount of rip offs and discrepancies with the prices and services, this place should shut down."
