"The average age is "really old." From April thru October, most of the people that hang out there are seniors that live in the surrounding trailer parks. The majority are good and decent people. In the winter months, the snowbirds take over. Pretty sad that this is where snowbirds spend their 5 or 6 months but I guess it's cheap and, I guess, the karaoke keeps bringing them back. But if you are under the age of 60, you will not recognize most of the music. The bar and dining areas are dark and gloomy. There are no windows, no fresh air and the lighting is poor. The regulars sit around drinking for most of the day and try to figure out why they have swollen livers. There is a real crazy one that actually tried to shoot her husband after a bender. The kitchen was recently taken over by a control freak. The food used to be decent. Unfortunately, the wonderful woman that ran the kitchen for years recently passed away. And the guy that did the "real" cooking (the ribs and the incredible tuna steaks) decided to leave the Lodge because of the kitchen control freak. The food is now basically Gordon Food meatballs, some kind of farmed fish (Swai???) and Steak-umms. YUCK!!!!"

"An excellent fraternal organization! Very nice lodge and some of the most friendly people around. The staff here is second to none. Food is good and reasonably priced. Queen of Hearts drawing was tonight along with karaoke. A very fun place for a good cause."
