"I was excited about my day. The water taxi experience sounded fun and convenient. It goes to a number of places that I wanted to see. I was wrong. We tried to get on at stop 7 but there was a huge boat there. Several taxis went by and left us stranded for almost 2 hours. Because of this delay we were unable to get off at the stops we were looking forward to after. In the end we only got to see one stop. We also saw them pass other people waiting at other stops leaving them stranded for reasons unknown. They also do the stops out of order causing further delays. To top it off when a taxi finally did stop to get us. They lost control and slammed into another boat that was docked there I called for assistance while we were waiting and the girl on the phone had no ideas on helping or offering compensation. I was not going to Uber back after paying $80 for my husband and I to use the taxi. I ended up paying for extra parking because of the delay. I do not recommend this service it is unreliable"
"We thought it would be a wonderful experience but unfortunately we had to wait 1.5hr, three boats came with no space. No line, and people just fighting to get in. We have 2 young’s kids, the person from “water taxi” said to me, “You should have tipped” what? How can this be right!"
"We had a few good days of service. With knowledgeable crew. Yesterday we were kicked off for boat and crew change adding 30 minutes to our trip. We were told to be at Whistle Stop at 10:10am to go up. As we waited we watched a water taxi go right by us and refuse to acknowledge or stop. Unfortunately, we will not be able to use this service again on a 30 day multiples due to time constraints our last day in Fort Lauderdale. A bit of a let down. Live and learn."
"Water Taxi was great. Like a mini tour. Our "guide" pointed out famous people's mansions and yachts. Very entertaining."
"Don't waste your time or money with this company. The boats don't show up on time. If you call the phone number, they'll tell you a boat will be there in 15 minutes, but it won't show up. If you like gambling, I'm sure there's a sportsbook app or casino that will gladly take your money. And you'll at least have a chance of winning. Taking this service is only a losing proposition. We waited 80 minutes for a boat and the one that finally came said it was full and wouldn't let us get on. Use your better judgment and don't use this service."
