On our tours, you can enjoy a short cruise to the famous Islamorada sandbar, where you can walk along the sandy flat, float on giant mats, soak up the sun, and relax. Fun for all ages! You can also snorkel at one of Islamorada's beautiful shallow water reefs, with depths between 8-20 feet. The choice of reef location will depend on factors such as visibility and weather conditions.
Our tours last for 2 hours and departure times vary in accordance with sunset. The Turtle is equipped with a private restroom with a flushing toilet, is U.S. Coast Guard licensed and inspected, and has full safety equipment and new twin engines. We specialize in private charters, making The Islamorada Turtle perfect for weddings, reunions, corporate events, birthday parties, bachelor or bachelorette parties, and more. "Unfortunately none of us can control the weather; I was part of a group of seven (kids and adults) and although the weather wasn’t perfect the boat trip was. The captain and his crew will go above and beyond to make sure you enjoy the experience. They are very good at reading the group and very accommodating! "Had a beautiful day out on the water. The boat ride to the sandbar was perfect they played Jimmy Buffett music. When we arrived they put out two big Mats to lay on and had noodles, paddle boards (the crew even came into the water to show people on the boat how to do it) and some other stuff to use. It was worth every cent even though the water was cold!!!!"
