"AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Admittedly I’m a habitual screen breaker! lol For about the last 3 years I’ve always gone to this Techy specifically for the great service and low prices even though I live in downtown ft myers proper it was worth the short drive over the bridge, rather than the simpler drive to the mall up the street with more options that may not have been as good. Until today, I walked in to have my phone fixed as I unfortunately have about 100 times. I was met with unprofessional service and prices 30% higher than normal! When I asked, why I was told “New owner, New prices.” As a business owner myself I respect anyone’s right to charge what they please for their services. However, when acquiring a business maybe don’t price out your loyal customers or yourself from the market. Ultimately, I made the decision to stop being loyal to Techy immediately. Finally gave the mall a chance IFix had my phone repaired and ready to go in 35 minutes & for a great price much closer to what I’m used to paying considering I have an extremely old iPhone that doesn’t cost much to repair at all. I also price compared with a couple of competitors and they all came back around the same price proving Techy is just price gouging. Moral of the story, take advantage of your options! *Update in response to Owner - there is no way any research could’ve been done because I personally never provided my phone number to anyone in the repair store for any lookup we were not even in store long enough to do so before we were given a random high price with no further interaction, and just decided it’d be better to go back to the other side of town. It’s one thing to fall short but entirely another too flat out lie! I’ve been a customer of this Techy several times and have the receipts to prove it so there’s really no argument there and absolutely no reason to lie. Possibly it’s that you have so many unsatisfied customers per day they can’t tell the difference, I’m not sure. I also want to clarify IFix does in fact offer WARRANTY for a small additional fee that will still land you under this sad excuse for competition. Take my advice people & truly save yourself money and the headache of weird accusations if for some reason you’re not completely satisfied. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Just to be fair if you’re not feeling IFix, DR. Rob is always another great alternative! Bottom line? Do not go here."
