"As part of our low voltage internet and home solution, a server was installed in a small box the builder created in the wall for cable, surround sound, and other low voltage products. Since the builder did not insulate around the box, the server hum could be heard clearly in the guest bedroom at night. I contacted Austin to see if he had any potential solutions that could help. He said they could install a server box/rack in the laundry room to warehouse all the low voltage equipment and forwarded the information and pricing, which we agreed to. The Techs: Chris Witter and Brian Zoly arrived early to complete the install of the box as well as migrate the wiring over from the old box the new box thus eliminating the server in the wall and the hum in the guest bedroom. Chris and Brian were quite thorough and ensured our internet, phone, home security cameras and new remote shades were not impacted when the wiring was successfully migrated. It took them quite a while to identify and swap out wires (bless them) from the old cabinet over to the new, but the work was completed perfectly and they cleaned up after all that work. Now there is no more humming in the guest bedroom at night and the low voltage equipment is in a structure that is supportable should we want to add any thing else in the future.
