Avis Car Rental

"!!!!!!CUSTOMERS BEWARE!!!!!!!! *STOLEN PROPERTY* I rented a car from this Avis in Winter Haven, FL and will never recommend this establishment to anyone. The rental itself was not the problem, it was the thieving employee/s at the location. The day I was due to return my rental I accidentally left my phone in the car and returned minutes later to get it back. As I was driving back I was calling my phone to see if someone would pick up so I could tell them I was on the way back to get it, but no answer. As I pulled up to the Avis location the phone suddenly stopped taking calls, as if it was turned off. I spoke to an employee to tell them that I was absolutely sure that I left my phone in the car and I wanted to look in the car to get it back, but it was no where to be found. I cut my losses and went home, but continued to call the location to see if anyone had found it but no one would take my calls. I was left on hold for 30 mins. at a time or just flat out ignored. Fast forward four days later, I get a call from Avis saying my phone "suddenly appeared" in the location and that I could come get it. Upon inspection I noticed that my SIM card was gone and the phone was fully charged. So whoever STOLE my phone had every intention on using/selling it. If I were you, I'd rent elsewhere."

"Damien who works here provided me and my friend great service. He and his coworker made it feel easy to rent a car here. His kindness and understanding made me feel comfortable trusting Avis as a car rental company. I certainly hope that he receives a raise for his hard work. "If I can give a half star I would. They are the worst car rental ever. And customer service is also the worst the guy at the counter rude with the clients. Not going to referral this company to no one. As a sales person you dont work. Also spoke to Ryan from reservation # 1-800 said some information and left the most important out."

"My family and I went to the Budget location in Winter Haven and spoke with Isaiah at 3:00 PM on 07/15 ( I don't know if that's his real name.) Isaiah had a horrible attitude from the moment we came in. He did not greet us ( we spoke to him first and he was not friendly whatsoever) . He then also refused to give us a car when we had a confirmation number. He said he had no cars available simply because I did not want to give him my credit or debit card. Keep in mind that my father was going to pay for the rental and my mom was going to be the primary driver. However, he said I would need to give him my license ( I did not have a problem with that) and debit or credit card if I was going to be an additional driver. So I asked him if he could explain why my information was needed. And he could not give me an answer (maybe he needs more training) and that was when he told me he had no cars available. I added pictures down below of all the cars in the parking lot ... Don't waste your money here, find a better location or car rental company altogether. A matter of fact there's an Enterprise car rental agency 2 min. away. We went there shortly after our bad experience at Budget and we received great service."
