"Subject: Complaint Regarding Lack of Notification and Planning for Tree Cutting at The Quaye BLUF: The management company lacks leadership, honesty and the ability to plan! They will place their inability to manage on the contractors’ and sidestep the real issue -You cannot separate authority and responsibility, those two cannot be delegated! Dear Monster Tree Service, I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction and frustration regarding the recent tree-cutting activities at The Quaye community. Unfortunately, the experience was far from satisfactory, and my vehicle was damaged due to a lack of communication and proper planning. First and foremost, I would like to highlight the absence of any notice or communication from the property management at The Quaye regarding the tree-cutting scheduled to occur. The trees were being cut directly over our cars in the parking lot, and residents were not informed or given the opportunity to move or protect their vehicles from potential debris. The tree-cutting service seemed to operate without any planning or precautionary measures. No effort was made to notify residents about the upcoming work, and no inspections were conducted to ensure that necessary precautions were taken to prevent damage to our property, specifically our vehicles. Adding to the frustration, most of the workers from the outside tree-cutting service did not have English-speaking translators, making it difficult to convey concerns or have a meaningful conversation about the potential risks involved. Unfortunately, we only became aware of the situation when tree limbs hit our cars and the ground. Upon bringing the matter to the attention of management after the fact, I was asked if I wanted the tree service to use a blower to clean my car and if I wanted to move it out of a handicapped parking spot. This lack of proactive communication and action is unacceptable, especially considering the potential damage that could have been avoided with proper planning. I am also deeply disappointed by the apparent lack of involvement and communication from the management company, Greystar Management Group. It is disheartening that, once again, we are left with the vague assurance that the matter will be looked into without any resolution or proactive steps to address the issue. I believe it is crucial for projects of this nature to have a well-thought-out plan to avoid such incidents. The current situation is indicative of a failure in planning, and it is essential that steps are taken to prevent a similar occurrence in the future. I intend to contact city officials to address the matter of making a person with a handicapped sticker move their car without providing an alternative handicapped parking spot. I strongly urge both Monster Tree Service and Greystar Management Group to take immediate action to rectify the damage caused and implement measures to prevent such oversights in the future. Residents should be informed in advance of any potentially disruptive activities, and proper precautions should be in place to protect their property. I expect a prompt response detailing the actions that will be taken to address this matter and prevent its recurrence. If I don't do it, I will need to take further action. I will continue to climb the ladder until I get the proper restitution or remedy to this problem you have created as a management group. Sincerely Christopher Anthony Tompkins, Sr. LTC (Ret.) Ph.D."
