Hawthorne Meadows Community

"Broken Promises and Lack of Consistency at Hawthorne Meadows Community Association I've been a resident at Hawthorne Meadows for several years and sadly, my experience has been mostly negative. The association is stringent about front yard aesthetics, even going as far as to target my resto-mod car projects. I tried to find a compromise by asking for an additional two weeks to resolve the issue with my cars. Initially, they agreed, but then the very next day I received a letter saying I would be evicted if the cars weren't moved within a week. This kind of inconsistency is not only frustrating but erodes trust between residents and the association. Meanwhile, basic community maintenance like lawn mowing is often neglected. This affects both the look of the community and potentially our property values. For these reasons, I can't in good conscience give more than a one-star review. There is a severe need for re-evaluation and change in the association's priorities and operational consistency."

"Don’t move here. Progress took over and place has gone down hill. Grass is never cut. And the added fees on top of rent make no sense. Service, trash unexplainable utilities equate to almost an extra $600 month. Take my advice move somewhere else. Overall great quite neighborhood"

"I have applied for the same property twice with Resihome and they gladly take your application, approve for a house but the turnaround and state you don’t qualify, when I’m order to be approved you obviously qualify. This company is obviously very heartless, they say 3x the income, you show them that and can prove that but you still turned down. That’s crazy, if you strictly want section 8 tenants just say that. Don’t knock the honest working person. I’m a landlord as well. What you guys have going on is discrimination against the working person."

"Worst place ever to live. I would never recommend anyone to apply for these homes and this community. We pay $75 for our grass cut and we can’t even get out of it. I have not seen them cut the grass, all they do is rob us. My next step is to complain to the better business bureau."

"If you are looking for a community with no amenities, privacy or space, this is the place for you. There are no backyard fences. We had our back door open and a dog literally ran inside our home! The owner apologized but that’s beside the point that privacy should be a concern. The grass behind the homes is deceiving, one you step on it, your in a swamp. No signs of a pool, dog park or clubhouse being built or added. Construction debris and construction workers lunch trash blown everywhere by the wind. The houses are so close, you can hear the person living in front of you playing in the garage. So if you want to sleep when you want, good luck. I will say the paperwork process of becoming a renter was easy and stress free."
