San Mirage at Bonita Springs

"In my time here as a renter was mostly stressful. I would NEVER buy a Condominium in here. I am actually very thank-ful that I no longer live in this condo. The Association Board is a joke; they are made up of a bunch of retired seasonal residents that do not make the living here any better, they just write passive aggressive letters to everyone and they do not actually DO ANYTHING. We were never told by our owner of the condo or the realtor we signed all the paperwork with that we needed to have parking stickers on our vehicles; 6 months after moving in we had the meanest letters taped to our door stating that if we did not get these stickers our vehicles would be towed and that we had a ridiculous time frame to do so for two working people. NO ONE TOLD US, JERKS!!! They are worthless. They post notices about meetings and in CAPS it is emphasized that the meetings are "closed and not open to the public"; uh okay then why post the meeting notes on every buildings message board by mailboxes?! When we had trouble with our neighbors, it was like pulling teeth to get the board to help us! Seriously, a year and a half of complaints and nothing was done to better the living of those in our building that were effected by these awful people. The walls, floors, ceilings are PAPER THIN. You can hear everything (and I mean everything - like something as small as a cough) your neighbors are doing. There is no privacy. The parking is awful, you are assigned a spot and if you are lucky enough to have a covered spot it is such a tight fit and there are these metal poles that I have witnessed several elderly neighbors hit with their car because they cannot turn their steering wheel with the proper dexterity (some have very very close to hitting neighbors parked cars because the parking spots are too close to one another). The security gates are broken more half of the time. The side gate always breaks but they never "have the part" so it will stay open for a few days. And the front gates have been replaced twice in our two years here. The rules for living here are ridiculous...such as the fact that you are not allowed to have potted plants, pool toys, beach towels, shoes on your OWN PATIO!!! They posted notes on everyone's doors that did not oblige to their stupid rules written in passive aggressive manner. There is zero security here, or any rules about the type of people who live near you. I have run predator checks for neighbors and they are not all squeaky clean. But they are more focused on what's on your patio, sure I can see the importance here people. Save yourself the aggravation and do not rent here, buy here or even visit here. I ONCE had two friends come to the pool with me and one friend brought her young child; and my goodness the dirty looks we were given while we were trying to enjoy a beautiful spring day; you would think we were offending these old people whom BRING THEIR GRANDCHILDREN to the pool also. Save your judgy looks there people and get swimsuits that fits your bodies; no one wants to see your old private bits. This place is the worst. Seriously, the worst"
