"After needing and trying to get help for over a year after hurricane Ian...no water....a farm that was devastated & still has damages.... in the face of losing everything I was referred to Catholic Charities. After meeting with a supervisor I explained my power was scheduled for disconnect. They agreed to immediately pay my power bill to avoid disconnect, help me stabalize, and see what other assistance I may qualify for. The supervisor went on vacation the day after our meeting without informing me or my case manager. I called my power company to see if a payment was made, they informed me no one from Catholic Charities had ever contacted them. Even after the disconnect date was extended no one could reach Catholic Charities for over a week. 2 disconnect dates went by.... no responses to my emails, texts, calls, and no contact with the power company. I found out through a second party he was on vacation. And 2 days after my second disconnect date he contacted me... no apology.. simply said it looks like you dont need help anymore? I stated I still needed help....ignored once again. Thats horrendous for any organization claiming to help victims of a storm, but this is an organization that claims to represent doing the works of God. Im at a loss for words....I just hope others dont have to suffer through being treated this way when they have been suffering for a long time and out of options. You would have better luck getting compassion from a stranger on the streets before getting a second glance from Catholic Charities."

"I like the way they offer clothing at the Arcadia location. I have found some clothes when down on my luck. I visited Catholic charities during my stay in Colorado Springs, CO. They had a cafeteria where the poor could come and get a meal. Wish that the Arcadia Catholic charities offered this same service. We need it, this area is so depressed."

"There are many services available there to help individuals or families in need. I know they have a great need for kids essentials. Some of the staff working there go an extra step you, that is well appreciated."

"God bless Catholic Charities, God bless Sister Ann. They helped me out earlier this year with rent when I was out of work. I would have been evicted if not for their services."
