Magnuson Hotel Wildwood Inn

"Best to keep looking and save your money. Hotel empty yet they put us under a family of elephants stomping around all night. Very basic hotel yet charge alot. Breakfast was bad. Nothing left but one old banana, old clementines which no one touched, 1 yogurt for kids, old stale bagels and muffins, very weak watery and old coffee. No eggs or gravy left. Probably for the best so as not to get sick. Tv kept skipping on all channels making it unbearable to use. And tub was very slow to drain. At least the water was hot."

"Spacious room, quiet and not very modern but it’s ok. Not sure how well they clean their rooms or what but upon entry the first thing I noticed was that weird chicken (?) toy(?) but I don’t think it’s part of the decor. The other thing is that the a/c unit started to smell like it was catching on fire when we tried to change the temperature a little higher. There is a nice bike path near by."

"It's a very nice building. Nice clean rooms where everything mostly worked. One light was weird, but was no problem. The check in was a problem though. We reserved and paid for the room over the phone a few days prior. Where one person was showing up the day before the person that reserved room. When I arrived, I was told I had to provide ID and a card so they could charge 100 dollar security deposit. I've no problem with a deposit, but we were not told of it beforehand, and why couldn't have just been done at the same time the reservation was made? Had to wait another hour or so to get ahold of a deaf man to have him call the hotel to provide the same card.used on reservation to pay them again to check in..."

"I stayed at the Magnuson Hotel Wildwood Inn for almost three weeks for work. The staff was AMAZING! I want to thank Tracie, Tina, Michael, and Adam for being incredibly friendly and hospitable. I was traveling alone, and they made me feel at home and safe. I felt like part of a family. I would highly recommend. You will meet some of the most outstanding people in the industry. Thanks again."
