"This was once a pleasant place to do transactions. Had to do a business transaction for my company yesterday. I walked through the front doors, it appeared as though a gray cloud followed me inside. The entire undertone was completely depressed and dismal. The furniture doesn’t look like it’s been wiped down since Covid. The floors and the carpeting are in the same discusting conditions. It appears as though most of the money was dumped into Lake Alfred, leaving this location in a bad state of affairs. I would expect to see this in a northern inner city, but not here, where there are new roads and homes being built. This is going to add more congestion of people. This location needs to be equipped with bodies in the seat to handle that …which brings me to my next issue. Where the hell is everybody? Once a group of smiling, friendly faces, and the house was packed. Don’t get me wrong, my wait time was not long for my transaction, but when you get to the back, they are running off of a skeleton crew, and look less than happy. Especially the folks that run along the backside, which I am, assuming are some sort of supervisor. This Lake Wales office needs the same attention that other offices in the county have had. They need a facelift. They need bodies in seats, or need to find a smaller office in the area. This is a lot of real estate for such little staff. It doesn’t take rocket science folks…start NOW… clean this place up, add more people because you’re going to need it real soon. You’d be surprised what a morale booster it is for your staff."

"Doesn’t respect appointment times. I have two children and made an appointment 2 weeks ago. I scheduled it around my other errands and appointments only to get there and be attended an hour after my appointment. I thought that time would be reserved for me. I didn’t mind waiting 15 even 20 minutes more but an hour??? Everyone is nice and professional I have no issue with the people working there. They know what they’re doing just the system needs to update for better time management."
