"I was referred to this firm by a friend, but found out that they never actually used Lafata. My mistake for not verifying. I started by calling and emailing, but the staff and Joe were very disrespectful with the way they spoke and responded to me (when they would actually respond). They never answered my questions and talked down to me when I tried to get clarification. I should have pulled the plug with the first rude response, but I provided large amounts of private accounting information to them, only to receive more rude responses. I certainly didn't feel secure with their handling of my documents. I terminated my contact with them and asked them to destroy my file, but with their shady attitude, I have no way of knowing what they did with my information. Such an uncaring environment of disrespectful people from the top to bottom. Avoid this firm!"

"Amazing is all I can say!!!. I was with another accountant, I sold my company, my old account told told me some things I thought were strange but when I saw Joe it was just the opposite. My other accountant had no idea what he was doing. Joe has saved me so much money and he’s helping me grow my business!! "Lafata was recommended to me by someone I trusted, but I was highly disappointed by how I was treated by the staff. I should have recognized from the very first phone call that Joe was rude and had a superiority complex. His staff was just as disrespectful. I was was kind to them and provided everything they requested in a timely manner, but I was talked down to on the phone and their email correspondence was just as uncaring. I asked very specific questions on multiple occasions, but my concerns were never addressed. In other words, I was ignored. Due to their failure to correspond and work with me I was forced to find other accounting services to handle my needs in the middle of tax season."

"I never leave negative reviews unless necessary. I recently was turned to Joe and his team by my father who uses them to do my taxes. After a brief questionable response to my account in-regards to my taxes that they did for me, they quickly removed me as a client from their business and avoid answering any emails in-regards to why I was removed. Their childish response and inability to act maturely will be their downfall as a business and a brand. Beware of Joe and Cecelia if you use them for your tax needs."
