"Dr. Steven G. Mautner is a hard worker doctor and human being. He is a doctor who listens and makes assertive and honest decisions. Thanks to him I have not only saved money but also unnecessary work on my teeth. I appreciate his compassion and empathy because when I needed x-rays when my insurance no longer covered them, he took them for me without charging because in his words "you need the evaluation and I am the doctor" that way he gave me security and did not charge me x-ray on the bill. My husband and I are amazed at the number of people who come to the office looking for him. The reason is that you find a human being prepared to help you."

"I can not understand why the negative reviews? You are fortunate to have found and been treated by this Dentist. He looks after your best interest. Why do you think his fees are so low? People know that they get no frills! I have known Dr. MAUTY for over 20 years. He is an inspiration to many Dentists. He keeps his overhead low by not wasting money on technology. Basic analog density. If you want overpriced density then go somewhere else and take your negative reviews with you. If he's an ahol with you it is because you deserve it. Get out and leave this sanctuary for those who appreciate bottom dollar density. It is not his fault you have a worthless dental plan. Your worthless dental plan is your worthless dental plan not his. He is not a miracle worker even though it appears that way. How much is a crown? What type of stupid question is that? How is his staff supposed to know without a proper diagnostic work up?"

"This place is so dirty. My mother went to this dentist for treatment. I couldn’t believe how filthy and anti-hygienic this place was. See pics. The dental assistant kept cleaning residue of my mom’s teeth after a treatment, and kept dumping it to the floor with no regret, or concern about contamination. Unreal. The equipment is also very old, rusty, and not properly maintained. It was like being at dental office in a war zone. This dentist cares more for quantity than for quality. Sees too many people at the same time, and rushes to the next patient, this obviously impacts attention to detail and quality."
