Sage Dental of Oviedo

"Walked out finally!!! Have been going to this office for the past 3 years and every time there is an issue with billing or scheduling. Daughter went in for a cleaning, and they suggested she get sealers for her teeth. We signed a consent, authorizing an $80 charge, only to be billed later for an additional $280. They sealed teeth, that was not covered by our insurance. The billing department does not verify pricing with the insurance company before doing the procedure. I also had a crown come out and immediately called to schedule to a replacement. They suggested I see the doctor after my scheduled cleaning in 3 weeks. Within that 3 weeks, the exposed tooth cracked. When I arrived for the cleaning, I found out that they never made the appointment for the doctor to look at the crown. When they tried to correct the problem, the doctor said I should have called immediately when the crown fell out (which I did). My insurance pays for 2 free cleanings and one X-rays a year and everytime they want to charge me. Today was the last straw when they wanted to charge over $200 for a cleaning. If you are looking for a dentist please look somewhere else other than Sage Dental."

"I can't give 5 stars...... Because I left there hungry and could not eat for a bit. They were wonderful at the office. Dr. Alag and her assistant took their time with my dental work. The overall experience was a good one. Thanks guys and see you again."

"The only reason I’m giving this place two stars is because of Sandy she is amazing but they charge me for things that I didn’t even get done. I paid $196 and when I called they told me that was my co-pay and when I looked on my bill, my co-pay was zero so I don’t even know what I paid $196 for, they’re arguing with me over email because they charge me double for something. I do not recommend this place at all. They’re very rude. All the staff in the front are very rude. The doctors are very nice Sandy is amazing. I love her and I love her work and that’s the only person I’m gonna miss but but I am never going back to that place ever again I was about to spend hundreds of dollars at that place getting my teeth fixed and I am going to just search for another place to go. I do not recommend this place do not waste your money because they’re just gonna rob you."

"Office is wonderful, professional staff, they are very knowledgeable on insurance. I called before hand to ask about my insurance as they are the experts when you don’t know much about dental insurance before hand. They help answer all my questions. Staff is fun and amazing!! Will be my dental office for LIFE!!"

"I’ve been with sage dental for years and I have had several issues in the past with this company. Such I was told that my daughter had a cavity which was a lie. I had it done and paid for it for no reason. The incompetence and lack of professionalism of this company is higher every time I go for an office visit. I used to live in pompano beach and my hygienist was great but since I moved to east central Florida I had to change offices. And I have to tell you that on my first visit I had a horrible experience. My daughter had a 15 minutes regular cleaning for $ 60. And for me since I was told I need a periodontal cleaning and I was forced to pay $ 210. I told them that I made the appointment only for cleaning which cost me the last time $ 70. So these unprofessional people told me that it was RECOMMENDED to have the quadrant’s cleaning…… etc. so we had an argument back and forward and ended that the hygienist FORCED me to pay $ 210. This is something optional which they should let the patient choose. And since I refused to pay for that. I didn’t get my cleaning. This is the worst office I’ve been to. Never again. There are so many other dental offices where you can be treated with professionalism and respect."
