"TERRIBLE firm. On a referral from Mayo we had our taxes prepared. On the initial consult they would not provide an estimate of the costs. As a Mayo provider I thought they had been vetted and trusted that they would provide a great service. That was not the case. We were charged $2k for a tax return that I could have done myself; we used them because of the referral. When I asked for a breakdown of the charges, because while individual tax fees are not deductible under the new laws business fees are still deductible, they told me that they did not keep those records. How a CPA does not understand what expenses are and are not deductible literally escapes logic. And to top off the WORST professional experience of my life, they could not show where they earned their hours. If my time was not more expensive than their hourly I would consider suing them for their business practices."
