Dental Care at Ward Lake

"WARNING: They will try to sell you on dental care you DONT need. From the moment I went inside the office I could just smell the stench of a lying, money hungry business. Just pay attention to the words they use, how they present your treatment plan and how pushy they are. I came for a special they had for new patients and they said I had 8 cavities! Never in my life have I had 8 cavities in one visit. They also said I needed a different type of cleaning for gingivitis. I knew something about their office felt off so I got a second opinion and turns out I don't need any of the ridiculous treatments they were trying to sell me. Needless to say, I will never be returning to dental care at ward lake. Thank goodness I found an honest dental care office. Please, for the sake of your oral health, don't come here. It's sad they think that lying to their patients will bring them more business. It's sad that they probably get away with most of it, too. Honesty plays no role in this office and this is not dental care. This is dental scam. If this review has not yet deterred you from coming here, then I urge you to get a second opinion before you let them do ANY work in your mouth. And to any employees that work there and feel uncomfortable with the deceit and lying (yes, I could sense you were uncomfortable lying) leave before you also become just as bad as the rest of them."

"Please do NOT go here! I wish I would have listened to the bad reviews. After not having time to do a cleaning (after having an appointment) they had time to fill 6 cavities! Yes, they told me I had 6 cavities. I went for a second opinion the following day and had ZERO cavities. Then I charged wrong and sent to collections. My insurance paid 100% for cleaning, exam and x-rays but they failed to honor the contracted rate with the insurance company and want me to double pay them. This group is fraudulent. Please read reviews prior to the fake good ones that say the same thing I am saying."

"Friendly, professional, thorough and efficient. 01/23/24 update: After my initial visit, I was scheduled for 2 crowns for 01/23. I received a reminder via text on 01/09 which I confirmed via text. I received another reminder via text on 01/18 and I again confirmed via text that I would be there. I received a text thanking me for the confirmation and that they looked forward to seeing me. On Monday 01/22 I received another text at 4:04 pm confirming my 01/23 7am appointment. Shortly after I received a text to call the office. As I still work and was in my office until 6pm, I did not see the text. I later received a text at 5:04pm that said my appointment was at 8am, which I didn't see until after 6pm. I also received 2 emails on 01/22, 1 that confirmed my 7am appointment and another that said it was at 8am. I had a missed call at 3pm on 01/22 but no voice-mail. I arrived on time for my 7am appointment on 01/23 and waited until 7:20 am and was informed that my appointment was moved to 8am because they required a deposit for the dentist to come in at 7am.The office manager made excuses for all the conflicting texts and emails. I asked her why they didn't attempt to call me sooner than 3pm the day before the procedure. She said that I knew I had to put a deposit down from my visit in November. In all my 62 years, I have not had to put down a deposit to see a heath care provider. Am I renting a car? Was my money not good on the first visit? Did I not reply to each text that I would be there? It did not end well, to say the least. My wife had recommended the practice and she was never required to make a deposit, not even for an implant. We will both be taking our dental business elsewhere and would advise you to do the same. Horrible customer relations."

"I am a retired M.D. but have only moderate knowledge of dentistry per se. This is an “as of now” rating as I am in the middle of some crown restoration work, so my further opinion will have to wait until some time goes by. The office is physically lovely, well thought out, and has all the latest equipment for modern dentistry. The staff is extremely efficient, friendly and all members appear knowledgeable, including the reception, billing and dental assistants. The dentist I see, Dr. Albs, is kind, friendly and seems to be well trained, knowledgeable and skilled. So far, I would recommend this office if you need a new dentist."

"I am a product of bad dentists so I try not to visit a dentist as often as I should. But this place! I had a completely painless root canal today. This is the ONLY place you want to come for dental needs. State of the art! Staff excellent!!! Dr. R is my new hero! Will tell everyone that this is the best place and the only place for your Dentistry needs!"
