"Can’t recommend this practice. Based on my experience they are looking to make the most money possible. I was living out of the area and thought my old dentist didn’t take my insurance anymore. I was overdue for a cleaning and came here. I’ve never had any dental work done other than the occasional filling. While the office staff was nice, the entire vibe in the practice was just off. No one seemed to know what they were doing or where they should be. After my X-rays and exam they presented me with an estimate of 1800 dollars worth of dental work. I was shocked. On top of it they wanted me to go to one of their specialists to make sure there wasn’t nerve damage, which wasn’t even needed as the tooth had no signs of decay. They then explained to me that any overpayment made after the insurance adjustment would be kept in my account for use as a credit on future dental work. Excuse me, what? I’ve never heard of that. The whole situation did not sit right with me so I called my insurance. I found out that they ran my insurance wrong therefore making my out of pocket estimate super expensive. I decided to only get the cleaning (which the hygienist was great). I also called my old dentist and they accepted my new insurance. Upon getting a second opinion, they said 2 of the recommended fillings weren’t even needed. I ended up getting a crown and additional filling for a little over 400 out of pocket. 1800 vs. 400. Felt like a scam which is incredibly disappointing that a healthcare provider would place profit over care."
