Comfort Inn & Suites Near Universal Orlando Resort-Convention Ctr.

"The hotel had a musty smell and we had to change rooms because it smelled strongly of marijuana. The breakfast was a joke. It was in the corner of this dark area. It was early when we left so no one was there but still the area was a bit on the scary side. Bedding and room was damp, sleep was difficult. We thought we could save some money by staying in an off sight universal Hotel for the first night. Definitely not worth it. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Orlando.!!!!!"

"Overall, the hotel is fairly comfortable. But the room needed help. Many drawers would not close and remained open. The hot water was not nearly hot enough. Some outlets did not work. And, I found a cockroach on my nightstand, and in the bathroom. Not good."

"I would give it a 5 but the other guests were definitely a 1. Room was spacious as well as bathroom. They offer free breakfast. Service was okay until I asked for 2 clean towels. Over 1:30 hours passed and I did not get them (even after calling the lobby several times). I came down almost 2 hours after the request to get them myself. They had them at the front desk, so I did not understand why they couldn’t just give them to me in the first place. Anyway, other guests staying were super disrespectful and dirty, they were also loud. I guess the price point attracts all kind of people but especially disrespectful ones. The hotel also offers free shuttle service to Universal Studios parks. Overall, 3.5-4 stars would be a good rating for this hotel!"

"DO NOT STAY HERE. I saw all of the great reviews and booked because of that. I booked a king room, and the first room they gave me...someone was in it. I thought it was weird that there was a do not disturb sign on it, then when I tried opening the door, it had the chain lock on it. So I went to the lobby and it was more concerning that they had no idea who was in it. So they gave me another room and it was 2 double beds, which I didn't pay for...so I went downstairs again and asked for another room. The third room they gave me was under construction. There were no blinds, there were work clamps on the desk, drawers were left open, and it was damp in the room. The employees were apologetic and gave me a refund for my stay, and we left. Only nice thing was the bathrooms were nice and they have free breakfast. Overall I felt unsafe there and felt like I was going to get tossed room to room."

"Great location. We were able to walk to Universal Studios when we visited. The continental breakfast was standard with waffles, eggs, sausage, cereal, muffins, yogurt, etc and was pretty good. The room was clean/tidy but as with almost all hotels, those darn pillows just deflate, lol. Overall a good hotel for a good price."
