"My first visit to Smile Design in the Villages was great. I had a broken crown and I actually got a temporary and I go back in a couple of weeks to get the permanent crown put on. Usually, the first visit they say they must do a full examination and X-rays, etc. but the assistant, Charese, only took the X-ray of the one tooth. Then Dr Malek came in looked at the broken crown and Xray, stated we can get you fixed up today. I was so happy they did not follow the normal procedure. Although, it does say on their website they do emergency Denistry and that’s exactly what they did. I must give a big KUDDO to CHARESE. SHE WAS WONDERFUL. All the staff including the front desk were great. From the time I called to setup my appointment until they were done today, it was a wonderful experience. I will continue to drive 40 miles to see Smile Design in Mulberry Grove."
"I was charged $59.00 for a regular cleaning that included fluoride and irrigation. My wife was NOT charged for the same cleaning to include the fluoride and irrigation, 5 films. No charges were assessed for my wife's cleaning. A few days later we receive a bill in the mail from Smile Design Dentistry identifying $147.00 in charges for the services rendered with a payment owed after insurance coverage of $36.70. This is considered bad business practice and we are pursuing finding a different dentist that treats us fairly and honestly."
"On Dec. 27, 2023, I was treated by Cris and Dr. Malek. Both made me feel very comfortable(I was nervous) and caused me no pain! LOL. Iesha and Shelly were able to work me in before my appointment scheduled for later in the day. They whole office is professional and friendly. Brittany was my first contact a few weeks ago, who really had a challenge with my x-rays due to my tori! Thank you all!"
