"It's not really a dental appointment when I visit Spring Hill Dental. It truly is like going to see family to be pampered. I used to be very anxious about dental visits due to negative past painful experiences - as a result, i would have serious anxiety (even requested gas to help me. That changed instantly after my first visit here 4+ yrs ago. Their hygienist (Nancy) has gentle hands and a mild manner. Also, she doesn't feel the need to talk your ear off as a captive audience in her chair. My experience with Dr. Lu from day 1 was also something for the books. Having gone to a dentist in Tampa I was told I needed extensive work. Having never had any discomfort, I sought a second opinion. Dr Lu was that second source. I went in ready to hear that yes - I needed 4 root canals...only to find, none of that was true - my teeth were fine! From that moment on, I have been loyal to this office and make the 45 min drive from Tampa for my dental care. With a healthy happy smile all the way there and back. Dr Lu is honest. friendly, sweet, and personable. You are not just a patient nor a doctor's next means to a fancy car - you are treated as a person seeking true care.
