"Danger , Danger , Danger Avoid this company at all cost. We have filed a complaint with the cfpb and the bbb. I have never experienced such deceptive practices in my life. First let me start by saying my wife and I have filed our own taxes every year for the last 12 years. This year due to the increased property insurance and taxes we read an ad on tv that stated file your taxes early with Jackson hewitt and get part of your taxes up front. We set up an appointment and let me tell you the place was run down. Then they had computer issues, then the guy doing our taxes did not seem to know how to read a paystub or w2, then we were told we would get an email letting us know how much we got approved for. There ad stated we would walk out of the office with our money that was a lie, we were told that we got approved for 1000.00 that was a lie ,they only gave us 300.00 and then want to charge 100.00 for the service. People stay away from these crooks save your money and use another vendor"

"Service was pretty good but the only issue I had was that I called to make an appointment and asked how much it would be to do w-2 and k-1 I was told on the phone it was around $120 so when I get there and everything is done they charged me $380 for 20 minutes of work"
