"Had nails in two of my tires and needed to go somewhere quick, I was happy to find Lokol tires. Owner is a very nice guy and did a professional job taking off my tires and repairing them. I definitely recommend to anyone that needs this service done."

"Beware!! Overpricing & Owner Doesn't Back Up Work and Very Possible Doesn't Even Do It Properly. I visited this local tire shop several weeks for a simple tire rotation and balance. I paid the owner cash $80 for the service. Upon leaving, I noticed a very subtle shaking (of which I didn't have before), and didn't give it too much mind at the time. The next week , as I drove on the expressway, the shaking became more apparent and now has progressed and worsen. This is very indicative of tires out of balance. I returned to this shop and very politely spoke to the owner mentioning the shaking. Without hesitation, he immediately became defensive and exaggerated that I had been there over a month ago, and if I had come sooner he would have re-done it for free. Curiously, I then asked what he'd charge me to re-balance. The owners response $80 ($20 per tire). Skeptical of whether this shop owner even properly balanced my tires during my initial visit, I pointed to his tire balancing machine and asked if that was used for balancing. He said yes, then I told him I never saw him put my tires on that machine when I was there last. His expression immediately changes and said he has another one. From that point on he avoided all eye contact. I looked and didn't see another balancing machine, nor did he bother to point it out. At the same time, while looking away, he very rudely tells me "Papi, I balanced your tires" and proceeds to ignore me. Obviously, this is not someone I would trust, much less bring them anymore of my business. In Comparison, I went to two other big name tire shops (first one was very busy) and both quoted me $15/ tire for balancing & it would include rotation if needed (tires have to be taken off anyways, like I was told). In summary, I've never had or even heard of needing to rebalance tires after several weeks. If a customer is going to be charged above standard prices, not have the work backed up or worse not even have it done properly, well then it's just simply way better and a much safer practice to stick with the big name shops. So much for helping local businesses, pretty sad!"
