"I've used this Titile company, 3 times now. The first two times were smooth and positive experiences, so I recently used them again for the third time. But this last time, was a horrific experience, the staff had changed, including the Title processor. The buyer in my transaction was the biggest problem, of no fault to anyone, but the Title person, Veronica, had to be constantly told and pushed to get after the Buyer about anything and everything. I questioned many times, as to why I was paying her to complete a transaction, when I seemed to be doing all of the work in getting the Buyer to deposit the funds, turn in the paperwork and get signatures.Honestly, I'm not trying to discredit anyone here, my point is that if you forsee the need to have to get aggressive in completing a transaction with a buyer or seller, my advice is to go directly to a real-estate attorney. Otherwise, your transaction here, if completed, will take a lot longer then you want and involve more frustration and aggravation than you need."

"Did not have a good experience here at all. We started the process of trying to get land transferred in December. And employee here failed to notify us that a survey needed to be done (when we specifically asked). Then we dealt with planning and zoning and finally found out we needed a survey to get our address. We then had to get Desoto Abstract to redo the deed, I left work 2 hours early to go their office before 4pm (I was told hours are 9am-4pm, so I arrived at 3:30pm). I arrived there and doors were locked and lights off. I called the office and no answer. I sat at their door until 4pm, nobody ever showed up to the office. Needless to say I was irritated after I took my time off work and nobody was at the office. The employee brought the paperwork to my office the next day to be signed. The following week I needed a copy of the recorded paperwork and called the Desoto Abstract office 6-7 times on Monday, 6-7 times on Tuesday, 5 times on Wednesday. All of these days I left multiple voicemails. On Thursday I asked my mother in law to go by the Desoto Abstract office and get my paperwork. Thankfully she was able to go and someone was in the office. Only after her going there did someone from Desoto Abstract finally return my call. I asked if they ever answer the phone and the lady insisted that she does every day yet I was never able to get someone to answer. Needless to say now that we are done and have our deed I will never be doing business here again and DO NOT recommend them."
