"Maitre Poirier is competent and provided us with valuable advice and expertise for our specific case. However, we cannot recommend using her services if you are seeking a smooth and stress-free immigration process. The main issue lies in how disorganized their office is, coupled with the incompetence of the various employees. Despite paying and expecting to be primarily assisted by Mme. Poirier, the reality is that you will interact mostly with her assistants, who have limited expertise and display no professionalism whatsoever. They fail to conduct any follow-ups, often provide contradictory advice to what Mme. Poirier had initially suggested, and need YOU to update THEM on updates as they are not watching for case updates on their end. On multiple occasions, we had to point out and rectify their mistakes. If it weren't for our prior personal immigration experience, we would have encountered significant challenges. When we confronted the staff about their errors and lack of professionalism, their responses were aggressive, and no apologies were offered. Overall, our experience was dreadful, stressful, and further exacerbated the already burdensome immigration process. While we wholeheartedly acknowledge Maître Poirier's expertise - which we are thankful for as it contributed to the success of our immigration process - we would not recommend engaging with their office."
