Since she had to return to work after the appointment she politely asked about the wait time just to be yelled at by Paola Ramos. As the person who services immigrants she should know better and have more empathy for her clients."
"I expect more from an immigration lawyer, since part of their jobs are to help immigrants when English may not be their first language or they’re not yet accustomed to a new country. My mother had an appointment for 11:50 and was kept waiting for more than 2 hours. When she asked how long it was going to take since she had to go to work, she was rudely told off by Paola Ramos. It is unacceptable to not only keep clients waiting for that long, but to berate them for asking a question. The staff should be more polite and have more empathy, especially when dealing with immigrants who also have jobs to get to, along with their immigration paperwork."
