"DON’T waste your $ for HOA legal service here. We paid thousands. He gave advice multiple times that violated the Fla Statutes and our Governing Documents. I made 2 complaints to the Fla Bar. He charged to read the Bar complaint. He worked with directors that hired him, one director is a felon. Wouldnt respond to anybody else. Not in the interest and wellbeing of the 1000 residents that paid his $$ He recorded docs that arent supposed to be recorded. And charged for other advice he never answered. Mediations? Were dismal. Dont use lawyers that dabble in things they know nothing about. Only use HOA and Condo attorneys that are Certified by the Fla Bar in Condo and Planned Development Law. Dont go to a proctologist if you have heart trouble. Pilka will answer a bad review but refuses to answer Directors emails for 3 years. I am the client. I paid his bills. And I am the Director on the Board of Directors. This association is 1000+ people that have to pay for a attorney, Not just the president and 3 directors he works with. I fought all of them because they refused to comply with our Governing Documents and the Fla HOA Statutes. Get Certified Condo and HOA attorneys."

"A huge waste of time and money. Mr. Pilka must think a lot of himself. He charged me a $200.00 consultation fee. That was fine and I agreed to that before going to see him. However he did not help me in anyway. All he did was tell me how much his retainer and hourly fee would be. He could have told me that on the phone and not waste my time. My advise is find an attorney that is not just money hungry."

"Very professional and courteous. This firm was hired by the community management that mishandled the notification of pending debt for a recently installed water meter due to a wrong address assigned to the invoices under my name for a townhouse I own (which is currently occupied by a tenant).
