"Had a family member who was arrested because he was inside an abandoned house. He was 18 and when he saw the cops coming he ran. He was charged with two counts of burglary one unoccupied property one of an occupied property because when he ran he hopped a fence into a neighbors yard. In the state of Florida burglary is going into somebody’s property with the intent to commit a crime. So here is his 18-year-old kid in an abandoned house that had been abandoned for over a year, his only crime was smoking which is going to be legalized here very soon, and his other crime was going to the yard of somebody’s house. This should just be trespassing... when we spoke to the lawyer before hiring him he made it sound like he would be able to get him off on Trespassing charges and he would be out of jail on Bail very soon. Fast forward to six months later he was still in jail, and he convinced him to take two years of house arrest. During the whole process He was extremely hard to get a hold of, you would have to call his office 10 times before he would give you a call back and when he would call you back it’s almost like he didn’t even know what case you were talking about. After paying thousands of dollars it just didn’t seem like he cared about any of his clients including my family member. you are better off getting a public Attorney and you could probably get a better result. it’s now been over two years and we have tried to reach out to him to work his parole and no response. This guy stinks."
