"makes a big difference in who's rep'ing your store at the counter. never been yelled at before for trying to buy over a $1000 for bourbon AND over letting someone go before me in line....but tonight, tue Aug 8th that happened. was here last week, found a nice barrel select, even shared a story with the rep last week. great experience. today, go in and ask for price of a case (6 bottles) of it, rep had to be asked/prompted to call to see instead of waiting for owner later, while he was talking to owner, 1. he was struggling to articulate what bottle i was talking about so I helped him and said "let him know the makers barrel select" and he instantly got annoyed at this and covered his ear pointed my way like he didn't want to hear what i wanted to say. (2) Then he figured it out and was told the discount so i went to grab the case. i asked what it would be to buy all 4 cases (24 bottles) to the other friend/rep sitting in a chair next to him and he said something to rep. then i saw another customer waiting for some time and i called out "you can go in front of me" and the rep yelled out "hey!, i can't understand you and him" (owner on phone still) "at same time"...(something else don't remember dont' care). it took about a 30sec to realize what happened, so while other customer was at register and rep helping him, i simply walked out without spending my hard earned money at this store. to the owner: wish it had a better outcome and you could have made revenue out of it. was a great barrel select! I'm open for discussion."
"I Was told I couldn’t use my government ID from a different country. It had to be an ID from USA. I never knew foreigners couldn’t drink when traveling but I get to buy alcohol everywhere else in Florida and around the world but here. Thanks for the experience and discomfort. I got it from a different store."
