"I was very fortunate to find this spa while I was visiting Tequesta. I contacted the “Head to Toe Spa” hoping to get a massage or two while I was in the area to help me rest. What I experienced, was a life changing “chance meeting “with April, my massage therapist and Michael an acupuncturist. At the end of my first visit, I scheduled another massage for the day before going back home to New York. It was after that session, I noticed they offered Vitamin injections. I was very curious and started asking questions. I thought, if it will help my body heal, I will try anything. I have tried many things for a chronic infection/inflammation disease. I decided to try the immune booster injection to help my body fight the infection, it was reasonable priced and I thought, why not, it cannot hurt. I really did not think much of it, in fact, after the shot I forgot about it for a few days having really no expectations. It was then my husband and I starting noticing that I had a decrease in daily symptoms. Humm. I was skeptical, I was not convinced that it had to do with the booster. After a few more days, I started an experiment to ween off the strong antibiotic that I was dependent on for the past few years. I was really shocked, something seemed to be helping. After a week I went totally off the antibiotics, first time successfully in over two years. I was just holding my breath and trying not to get excited. I did not want to get my hopes up or my families hopes up to soon. The original plan was to go to Florida get some rest and then go home to schedule the major surgery in Boston to help heal the infection. I am optimistically holding off with THAT plan for now. I have instead, located a visiting nurse that will give me the same Immune booster here in New York. I can not say enough about that “chance introduction” to this healing practice.
