Mr. Clean Car Wash

"Went through this car wash on 2-10-2024 at or around 1:00 pm. A hard piece of plastic was lodged into my brand new running board on my 2023 Ram 1500. The GM Saffire ripped the piece out of my running board and obviously pieces of it broke off inside. I am being told that the giant hard piece of plastic (about 2 feet in length) did not damage my running board and to use “floss” for the remaining pieces inside of it. Wow is all I can say, the floss method was recommended by the area manager Josh Garrett. I am not sure where there is a liability release before entering the wash where it says that they are not responsible for the car wash breaking pieces off into your car. Maybe scratches and dents I can understand but not part of the car wash. I am awaiting response before pursuing anything, this is a brand new truck . Update - Josh reached out regarding the incident and was extremely professional about it. I will be sending photos of the damaged part to him for review. I believe the GM Saffire could definitely use some customer service classes or classes on empathy and also learning how to apologize for things like this. She is not a mechanic and she is unable to effectively communicate with customers."
